Alaleh is a Soros fellow and a medical student in the Harvard-MIT HST program. She received her master’s in statistical science from University of Oxford through the Rhodes scholarship. She majored in biomedical engineering, computer science, and applied Mathematics and statistics at Johns Hopkins. She immigrated from Iran when she was 14.
