Dr. Estiri delivered a plenary keynote at the International Work-Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedical Engineering (IWBBIO 2026) in Gran Canaria, Spain, on July 15, 2026.

The talk presented the Phylophenome, our temporal map of how diagnoses tend to follow one another in electronic health records, and ClaiD, the web explorer we built for it. Mapping these sequences across hundreds of phenotypes lets investigators study disease progression as an ordered series of transitions with measurable intervals between them.
